The alliance between JetSMART and American

In 2023, JetSMART Airlines and American Airlines launched their strategic alliance with the sale of codeshare flights between the United States and Chile, beginning the creation of the largest route network in the Americas, and with access to travel benefits for customers of both airlines. The alliance includes an extensive network of codeshare routes and, in late 2024, will add access for JetSMART customers to American’s AAdvantage® loyalty program.

The alliance includes a minority investment by American in JetSMART, which will contribute to the company’s development in South America. The partnership will allow JetSMART to expand in Latin America and contribute to the regional economy by increasing the dynamism of tourism and other productive sectors in which air transport is fundamental.
